Our Story
Who We Are
Stardust Big Bend was born from a simple belief: that the most extraordinary places on Earth deserve extraordinary places to stay. Nestled in the Chihuahuan Desert just five minutes from the entrance to Big Bend National Park, our 12 uniquely designed cabins sit at the intersection of raw wilderness and refined comfort.
The Big Bend region is one of America's best-kept secrets — remote, rugged, and breathtaking. It's home to one of the lowest levels of light pollution on the continent, some of the most dramatic hiking in the Southwest, and a silence so profound it becomes something you can feel.
We designed Stardust to give travelers a base camp worthy of the landscape. Every cabin has been crafted with attention to detail — high-end furnishings, wrap-around decks oriented toward the best views, full kitchens, fire pits, and outdoor spaces designed specifically for stargazing.
Whether you're a first-time visitor drawn by the national park, an astronomy enthusiast chasing the Milky Way, or simply someone who needs to truly unplug — Stardust is your place.
Our Values
No cookie-cutter hospitality. Each cabin reflects the landscape it sits in — honest, textured, and deeply Texan.
We're stewards of one of the last truly dark skies in America. We build with low impact and operate with conservation in mind.
From the thread count on the sheets to the quality of the coffee, every detail is considered. Luxury is in the details.
Location
Terlingua sits at the edge of the Chihuahuan Desert, flanked by Big Bend National Park to the east and the Rio Grande to the south. It's a former ghost town transformed into one of West Texas's most beloved destinations — equal parts adventure hub and art community.
