We built Stardust to change that. Every item on this list is something that isn't universally available in the local market. At Stardust, it's all included.
Many Terlingua rentals run on tanks and generators as their primary power/water source — meaning AC shutdowns and water shortages during peak times are common. Stardust is fully connected to the power grid and water supply. No cutoffs, no surprises.
All-white linens and towels, freshly replaced. We hold our cleaning team to the highest standard in the local market. Any issue is resolved immediately — no exceptions.
Our kitchens are fully stocked with cooking oil, 10 commonly used spices, coffee, a selection of teas, creamer, sugar, and more. Plus all the pots, pans, silverware, flatware, toaster, air fryer/oven, dishwasher, and more.
Well-insulated cabins with mini-split HVAC units keep you comfortable whether it's 100°F in August or 20°F in January. Big Bend is a year-round destination, and we're set up for all of it.
Fast enough to work remotely, stream 4K, or run a video call without interruption. A rare amenity in remote West Texas. Each cabin gets dedicated access.
Power outages are common in the Big Bend region. Every Stardust cabin is protected by a backup generator — you won't even notice when the grid goes down.
Electric vehicle chargers are available on the property at $30/night. Extremely rare in the area. Highway 170 access means no damage to your vehicle on rough desert roads.
Laundry facilities with detergent provided, free for all guests. If you're on an extended trip or just came back muddy from the Chihuahuan Desert, you're covered.

Located on the main road through town, just 5 minutes from the park entrance. We're on paved roads the whole way — not the bumpy dirt roads many area rentals require — saving you time and wear on your car.
